Hutt City Council Customer Service Surveys

Hutt City Council has implemented a business excellence programme to improve service to customers and measure the council's performance against internationally recognised best practice. As part of this programme, the council submits applications to qualified assessors in order to gauge progress and maintain a continuous cycle of improvement.

The Archives holds the historic memory of the Council – from the earliest beginnings of predecessor authorities such as Petone Borough Council, the Lower Hutt Town Board, Eastbourne Borough Council and the Wainuiomata district of Hutt County Council to video footage of the storms in February 2004.

Hutt City Council operates the following Council Controlled Organisations (CCOs). These organisations independently manage facilities, as well as deliver services and undertake developments on behalf of the Hutt City community.
