o The challenge of working in an industry that allows for an individuals use of initiative.
o Working for a very positive Council with respect to customer service.

 

• Things about the job that you enjoy the most…

o Working with professional people who generally remain positive in their approach to work.
o Learning as you go with changes in the industry.

 

• What is your view of the main benefits of working at HCC / in Lower Hutt?

o Environmentally very friendly in the Hutt
o Work facilities are reasonable
o Support ad training is second to none
o HCC seems to have a knack of employing generally positive people.

 

• What skills & attributes do you think someone will need to do your job?

o To have basic understanding of the Construction industry
o Basic computer skills
o Be a people person
o Have basic planning / management skills
