Dealing with managers, staff, providing advice to employees and managers, liaising with internal people within Council, taking calls from members of the public re recruitment, providing advice in relation to remuneration, employee issues etc.

Ability to have a good work life balance. Opportunities to get involved on several projects and working with people throughout all levels of the organisation.
Hutt City Council offers fantastic benefits including easy parking and an easy commute. It is great having facilities close by (gym/pools). Close enough if you have to go into Wellington CBD for meetings. Understanding the major impact that Council has with the wider community.
