Our diverse range of roles and people within the organisation mean that employees gain a variety of skills and experiences at Hutt City Council. We have approximately 500 staff members who are involved in areas that range from animal control to finance to community development.

Our Location
Located at the heart of Lower Hutt city, our main office building is close to shops (including queensgate shopping centre), cafes and public transport. The main building is surrounded by the Riddiford Gardens, and a stones throw away from the War Memorial Library, Huia Pool, The New Dowse, and the Visitor Information Office.
