Requests can be made:
online by completing a Fix-A-Gram
by telephone to the Customer Call Centre
in person at the Customer Service Centre, Main Council Building, 30 Laings Road, Lower Hutt, or any library (see Libraries for locations),
in writing to Hutt City Council, Private Bag 31912, Lower Hutt

Customer Call Centre
The Customer Call Centre provides customers access by telephone to all Council services and officers. All telephone enquiries to the Call Centre will be answered by Customer Call Specialists. The Customer Call Specialists are trained to answer the phone professionally and answer your request immediately, or direct you to the most appropriate officer regarding your request, or take down your request/complaint and forward for further action.
Fix-A-Gram / Report a Problem or Make a Complaint
Fix-A-Gram is a handy way of telling Council about any complaints or requests you may have for our services. Fix-A-Grams should be used to tell us about non urgent matters by using the tear off section. Fix-A-Grams are post free. Just complete the details clearly in the space provided, tear off at perforation, seal and mail. Fix-A-Grams are available from any Councillor, Council Service Centre, or may be requested from the Customer Call Centre. Once a year, a Fix-A-Gram is delivered to every household in Lower Hutt.

- If you visit the Customer Service Centre, you will be greeted within 3 minutes
- If you fax us, you will receive a response within 1 working day
- If you write to us or send a fix-a-gram, you will receive an acknowledgement within 5 working days.
- If you email us, you will receive an acknowledgement within 1 working day.
