Hutt City Council is currently undertaking a systematic review of land it owns and manages as part of its reserve network. This is being done on a Ward by Ward basis.
The purpose of the review is to determine the future best use of the land, including possible disposal.
At its meeting of 7 July 2009, the Operations & Compliance Committee resolved that the disposal of the Kensington Hall property be the subject of detailed investigation and consultation as part of the Land Review Project.
The Hutt City Council gives notice in accordance with requirements of the Reserves Act 2002 that it will consider a proposal to revoke the reservation of three areas of land upon which former custodian and staff housing are located at Naenae Park (1) and Te Whiti Park (2), to enable the houses and their surrounding grounds to be sold.
