Proposal to Consider Disposal of Park Lands

The Hutt City Council gives notice in accordance with section 138 of the Local Government Act 2002 that it will consider a proposal to dispose (or part dispose) of the following areas of land situated in Wainuiomata and managed as parks:

 

Proposed Revocation of Two Reserve Properties in Wainuiomata

The Hutt City Council hereby gives public notice under section 24(2)(b) and 119 (1) (b)of the Reserves Act 1977 that it intends to consider a proposal to revoke the reservation of the two areas of land, described in the following schedule, to enable the land to be sold and the proceeds to be transferred to the Council’s Reserves Purchase & Development Account for the improvement, development or purchase of other reserves in accordance with its Reserves Strategy.  

The Schedule

  1. An area of 260 square metres more or less being Part Lot 5 DP 69394 situated at the end of Wellington Road.
  2. An area of 5,400 square metres more or less being part of Part Lot 21 DP 26945 held in Certificate of Title B1/320, situated at Coast Road Wainuiomata, being a part of Ngaturi Park.

Persons wishing to make a submission in respect of the above proposals are requested to lodge them in writing with the Council no later than Tuesday 16 June 2009.
