Hutt City Council

Leadership Week 2009

Leadership Week highlights the strategic relevance and value great leaders and great leadership provide. It aims to raise awareness of both the importance and impact great leadership makes and also to showcase the work being done to develop leadership capability in New Zealand.

Leadership Week 2009 begins with the Sir Peter Blake Awards ceremony on Friday June 26.

The week gets its inspiration from the late Sir Peter Blake himself, who wrote:

“Having vision is not enough. Change comes through realising the vision and turning it into a reality. It is easy to espouse worthy goals, values and policies; the hard part is implementation."
