The workshop on the NZ education system will be held on 25th November November 2009 at 6.00 pm at Te Awa Kairangi building, corner of Laings Rd and Myrtle St.

• NZ Education system- teaching and learning in NZ
• Types of schools
• How schools are managed
• What schools teach: the curriculum- levels of schooling from ECE to secondary
• Assessment and reporting: a hint to the newly introduced National Standards
  parents rights and responsibilities in education
• Challenges for migrants and refugee students
• Children with special needs
