Scholarships

Hutt City Council offers three scholarships which are administered by external agencies:

Petone Borough Scholarship

For students attending Hutt Valley High School who live in Petone. Administered by Hutt Valley High School. For details contact the school office on 566-4584.

To mark the centennial of the foundation of the Lower Hutt Borough in 1991. For students living in and attending secondary schools in Hutt City, who intend to pursue an approved course of full-time study at Wellington Institute of Technology. Administered by Wellington Institute of Technology. For details contact Claire Hurley, Academic and Student Services Manager, Wellington Institute of Technology. Phone: 920 2492. Applications close once a year at the end of October.

To assist Pacific Island students resident in Hutt City that pursue an approved course of study at tertiary level. Administered by PACIFICA.
