Welcome to “Drive Well” the road safety educational programme presented by
the New Zealand Police, Hutt City Council and the Accident Compensation
Corporation.
This is an interactive programme that includes:
A PowerPoint presentation outlining: drink driving, drug impaired drivers, driver fatigue, drive to the conditions, driver licence conditions and the boy racer legislation.
On the Traffic Alcohol Bus discussing: drink drive processes, use of breath testing equipment and the drink driving legislation.
On patrol in marked and unmarked patrol vehicles: in the local area with the Stalker Speed Detection Devices activated observing driver speed and behaviour.
Large groups are split into three smaller groups and rotated among the activities. Please feel free to ask questions and
participate in discussions.
