Where's my nearest recycling station?

ALICETOWN - on Wakefield St between Rush Gr and Victoria St.
KELSON - off SH2 on Major Drive.
NAENAE - in the carpark of the Naenae Hotel, off Vogel Street and Everest Avenue.
WATERLOO - at the junction of Oxford Terrace, Knights Road and Birch Street.
WAINUIOMATA - off Parkway, in the Frederick Wise Park Carpark adjacent to the softball diamond.

Community Recycling Stations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It is a free recycling collection service to Hutt City HOUSEHOLDS.

Please ensure all containers are empty and rinsed out
Please remove all tops and squash all plastic containers
For HEALTH and SAFETY reasons, please DO NOT leave anything at the Community Recycling Station that may be dangerous, unpleasant or unhealthy to handle.

PLEASE do not leave any rubbish that may attract rats, nor any old/broken household items. Old furniture (including mattresses) need to go to the landfill. Any item that can be repaired or tidied for re-use should be taken to the WasteSmart retail store, 25 Goodshed Road, Upper Hutt. They will also collect items from your home - contact details are in the white pages.

"Close the Loop" Buy recycled and/or recyclable products to support the economic viability for collection of reyclables. Manufacturing products from recycled materials saves natural resources, creates less pollution and saves energy.
