Sportsgrounds

Hutt City boasts some of the best-kept sportsgrounds around! There are 27 sportsgrounds located throughout the City, providing around 200 sports fields in catering for a range of summer and winter sports. These include cricket, croquet, softball, touch rugby, rugby, rugby league, soccer, hockey, Gaelic Football, Australian Rules and American Football.

Season Charges

Set to recover the percentage of operating cost identified below plus the full operating cost of ancillary services:

One-off Or Single Day Hire

Charged at 10% of the season charge per game or where the game lasts three hours or longer, 15% of the season charge per day.

Target Response Times

  • Complaints, bookings and enquiries for sportsfields are responded to or actioned within five working days.
  • A problem reporting and call out service is provided 24 hours a day, all year round.
  • Problems of an urgent nature will be responded to within four hours of being reported.
