Vocational Programmes


SWIM CITY runs a Learn to Swim Programme from six months of age through to older adults. If you want to learn to swim, receive stroke correction or be informed on important aspects of safety in and around the water, then you have come to the right place.

Public booking day: 20 September  

Payment is required at the time of booking. If you're unable to make the full payment please contact the Swim City Office Staff. 

 

 

Holiday intensive classes

Holiday intensive classes are available at Huia Pool during the Spring school holidays for preschool, school age and private lessons.

Two weekly block of classes are available 28 Sept-1 Oct and 4-8 Oct. Classes run between 8:30-10:30am (Monday to Friday). Cost $55 per week for 5 lessons. Please contact SwimCity office for more details.

Location & hours

SWIM CITY office is located at Huia Pool, Huia Street, Lower Hutt. SWIM CITY office hours are Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) 9am - 5pm.

Bookings can also be made by phone 9am - 5pm. Payment is required on booking.

The hours of swimming lessons are between 12noon and 6pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 12noon on Saturday and Sunday. Times depend on age and ability of swimmer.
