SWIM CITY runs a Learn to Swim Programme from six months of age through to older adults. If you want to learn to swim, receive stroke correction or be informed on important aspects of safety in and around the water, then you have come to the right place.

Changes for Naenae Pool and Stokes Valley Pool will take place the Week of the 7 December 2009 the same as Huia Pool as per days and levels above.

Public Booking Day

Due to the large number of working parents who are finding it difficult to do a booking on a work day for a variety of reasons, we will now be doing the public booking day on Sunday. This will be for all people not booked into Term 4 2009.

Booking Day: Sunday 13 December, 9am - 1pm at Swim City Office, Huia Pool

Payment for Classes is required at the time of booking. If you're unable to make the full payment please contact the Swim City Office Staff.

Location & Hours

SWIM CITY office is located at Huia Pool, Huia Street, Lower Hutt. SWIM CITY office hours are Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) 8.30 am - 6.00 pm.

Bookings can also be made by phone 8.30 am - 5.00 pm. Payment is required on booking.

The hours of swimming lessons are between 12.00 noon and 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday and 8.00 am to 12 noon on Saturday. Times depend on age and ability of swimmer. A timetable stating lesson times and grades for each pool, is available at all pools or can be posted on request.
