Introduction
Hutt City Council is currently undertaking a systematic review of land it owns and manages as part of its reserve network. This is being done on a Ward by Ward basis.
The purpose of the review is to determine the future best use of the land, including possible disposal.
Western Hills
Council has most recently considered its land holdings within the Western Hills and has decided to consult on a proposal to consider retaining and classifying as reserve some 80 properties and disposing seven properties. A further 20 properties will be retained for other purposes such as water supply.
