“Work is continuing to repair the failures that were identified in the main wastewater outfall pipeline last Thursday," says City Infrastructure General Manager, Bruce Sherlock.
“Council thanks residents for their patience while the repairs are undertaken.
“While warning signs remain in place at the discharge points near the repair locations, water quality tests show the beaches are safe for swimming.”
