Community gardens and fruit trees are a great way to learn about growing food in a community setting, exchanging seeds and seedlings, and meeting other passionate gardeners.
If you'd like to get involved in a local garden, get in touch with your local community garden facilitator. You can usually find their contact details at the garden, or search online.
If you'd like to start a community garden please check with us before you start by emailing contact@huttcity.govt.nz.
Please note: We're unable to provide financial support for running or establishing a community garden or fruit trees.
