Graffiti vandalism negatively impacts on feelings of safety, property values and the well-being of our city. If it isn't removed from public view soon after it appears, it can become a magnet for more.
As part of our efforts to discourage graffiti around the city, we support and promote local Urban Art initiatives. This beautifies our city's public urban spaces, supports local artists and gives a legal outlet for urban painting.
Council is committed to freeing the city of graffiti vandalism and you can help us make a difference.
Members of the public should report tagging for removal as soon as it appears, to help keep our city graffiti free. Our mobile removal programme will respond within 48 hours.
