Funding community visits
Sometimes it’s easiest to get your funding sorted if you can talk to someone. Our Community Funding Advisor often heads out to meet people in their communities and talk about:
- the type of funding Council has available
- the elegibility criteria around funding through Council
- registration process and how to use our online application system
- helpful tips around funding.
If you'd like to book a visit with our Community Funding Advisor, you can now book online.

The community resource kit is a practical, hands-on resource to help you get started and to develop good practice in the voluntary sector environment.
The kit was developed by Family and Community Services (Ministry of Social Development) and the Local Government and Community branch of the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).
