Parks and reserves help preserve and enhance our city’s natural beauty. They offer opportunities for recreational activities to take place, to improve the well-being of our people.
We are always looking for ways to improve outdoor experiences for our community, and are currently reviewing reserves in Wainuiomata to ensure they meet your needs today and in the future.
Draft Wainuiomata Reserves Review
The Draft Wainuiomata Reserves Review document (PDF 19.5 MB) is now open for consultation. We want to know your feedback and hear more about how you currently use the reserves.
Please note: some of the trails on page 12 of the review document are not completely accurate or may no longer exist. We will update these in the final document. If you have any concerns about these trails, please get in touch.
