Atiawa Toa FM Netball Guinness World Record Attempt

Saturday 21 April Registrations open 9am: World Record Attempt 10am

The Atiawa Toa FM Netball Guinness World Record Attempt marks the start of the 2012 local Netball Competition.

Netball Players, coaches, umpires, anyone who can pass and catch a ball will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the "Most Consecutive Netball Passes".

The current record of 167 is set by a group over in the UK.  His Worship the Mayor of Hutt City Ray Wallace will be the first person to pass the ball for the record along with Haier Pulse Netball Players, Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit and Katrina Cooper and local MC Billy Graham encouraging the participants not to drop the ball.  A crowd of around 500 participants is expected with each participant only able to pass the ball once and each pass must travel at least 8 feet on a marked out regulation netball court.

This will be an exciting local event and is the first of its kind being held in the Hutt Valley.
