A fun and exciting windsurfing race across Wellington Harbour, followed by drinks and prizes at Jetty cafe Petone Esplanade. Spectators welcome!
The Wellington Windsurfing Association Harbour Blast is a great fun event for all confident waterstarting windsurfers. In a northerly wind entrants sail from Petone Beach near Hikiokoi Reserve out into the harbour and down to Eastbourne, about 7 km away, finishing at Robinson Bay Beach near the RSA. In a southerly wind the course is reversed.
Spectators - come and check out the action and see how local windsurfers put our region's wonderful wind to good use!
