Fraser Park

Hutt City’s largest outdoor sportsground, home to a number of local sports clubs and regular host of tournaments and events.

Our facilities

With 27 hectares of land, and mature native and exotic trees, Fraser Park is used for sports like rugby, rugby league, football, touch football, kilikiti (Samoan cricket) and softball.

There’s also a fully-fenced, floodlit synthetic sports turf on the Percy Cameron Street boundary of the park, which is managed by the National Hockey Stadium Trust.

Fraser Park is also home to:

  • Hutt Valley Softball Association
  • Avalon Rugby
  • Fraser Park Squash
  • Taita Cricket
  • Lower Hutt Football Club

As well as everyday sports games and activities, the park is regularly used for local, regional and national tournaments, as well as the Hutt City Christmas in the Park event.
