Now in its 10th year as a hybrid Farmers Market it features some of the best and freshest produce both imported and grown here in New Zealand. The market also offers freshly prepared foods and baked goods, like those offered by Jan Fletcher owner and chef of ‘Luscious’.
Jan Fletcher drives every Saturday from Dannevirke to sell her cakes, slices and biscuits to the crowds. Her specialty is the gluten free products she makes using traditional recipes by adapting them into a gluten free version. These old fashioned favourites include sticky lemon slice and a brownie. Jan says it is just another brownie, but her customers say it is a “just wow” brownie, an unexpected delight for a gluten free product.
