Booking a medium-sized venue – community halls

There are nine community halls available for hire throughout Hutt City. Find out here what our community halls offer, what they cost, where they’re located and how to book them.

We have the following community halls:

  • Moera Community Hall, Randwick Crescent
  • Wainuiomata Memorial Hall, Queen Street
  • Belmont Memorial Hall, Belmont Domain
  • Hardwick Smith Lounge, Belmont Domain
  • Taita Community Hall, Taine Street
  • Naenae Community Hall, corner of Everest Ave and Treadwell Streets (next to Naenae Pool)
  • Stokes Valley Community Hall, Bowers Street
  • Treadwell Street Hall, Treadwell St, Naenae
  • Eastbourne Community Hall, Tua Toru Street

Hire charges for commercial events

The hire charges for a commercial event are set at the community rate plus 50%. A separate negotiable charge of up to 10% of the gross revenue may apply if your activity is commercial.

Hire charges for charitable events

If you are running a charitable activity, you can apply to us for a special rate.
