Before you make an application
Before applying, ensure you have all the necessary information to make an application at the right time:
- Applications must be received at least five (5) working days before the event. No permits will be issued on the day of the event
- You must register with us prior to booking your site with the event organiser/s
- You will need to be an approved stall holder for us to register you. To become an approved stall holder, you will need to get in touch with the event organiser
Make an application
- When you are ready to make an application, you will need to fill in the Temporary Food Stall application form (PDF 274kb)
- Along with your application form, make sure you submit the appropriate fee for your application. We will advise you of the correct amount prior to applying.
Applying to be part of Hutt News Petone Rotary Fair
If you are applying to be part of this fair, you will need to fill in the Temporary Food Staff - Petone Fair form (PDF 152kb) and submit it with the appropriate fee and signed checklist.
Using the Temporary Registration Certificate
Once you have been granted a registration certificate, you will need to make sure the permit is displayed or available for sighting on the day of the event.
You may be asked to close your stall if you do not have this required documentation, or if you are unable to comply with the food stall safety checklist (PDF 265kb) or Temporary Food Stall registration conditions on the day of the event.
This Temporary Registration Certificate can only be used once.
