Our water confidence class is for adults with no swimming experience. All other adult swimming lessons require progression from an earlier programme, or an assessment prior to booking.

This entry level class is for adults with no swimming experience. Our instructors will guide you through basic water safety skills and get you comfortable with fully submerging under the water.

This beginner level class is for adults with basic swimming experience. Our instructors will guide you through basic water safety skills and introduce you to floating and kicking on your front and back.

This beginner level class is for adults with basic swimming experience. Our instructors will guide you through basic water safety skills and introduce you to correct freestyle and backstroke technique.

This intermediate level class is for adults with a bit of swimming experience. Our instructors will guide you through basic water safety skills, horizontal rotation and breathing drills, as well as:

  • Freestyle bilateral breathing for 25m
  • Backstroke for 25m

This class is for adults who are proficient in swimming looking to develop their technique. Our instructors will help you with:

  • Freestyle bilateral breathing for 50m
  • Backstroke for 50m
  • Introduction to breaststroke
  • Introduction to tumble turns
  • Using the pace clock

Class size: 5 people

advanced adult skill development

This class is for adults who are proficient with swimming and are looking to develop more advanced techniques. Our instructors will help you with:

  • Freestyle for 500m
  • Backstroke for 200m
  • Breaststroke and butterfly
  • Advanced stroke drills
  • Starts, turns and using the pace clock
