Spring Building or Renovating

If you want to build on your property, make sure it’s legal by getting consent through the Council. If you are unsure about whether consent is required then feel free to ask us. A Technical Officer can look at your plans and advise on what is required.

Hutt City Council highly recommends that you apply for a Building Consent for any building work, as you may wish to construct over the works at a later stage and this may require a consent. It will be difficult to acquire consent if the Council has no records.
