Proposed Plan Change 13 introduces two new chapters: 14J Temporary Activities and 14K Filming. In addition, there are minor changes to the rules in Chapters 3 (Definitions), 7A (General Recreation), 7C (River Recreation) and 14A (Transport). |

Amendments to Residential provisions and Financial Contributions Chapter |
Publicly Notified: 21 February 2009 Amended Summary of Submissions sought publicly notified on 19 May 2009. Further submissions closed on 19 June 2009. |
Proposed Plan Change 12 addresses the key issues that have arisen from a review of the current residential area provisions in the District Plan, including providing for future growth, encouraging appropriate higher density housing and ensuring efficient implementation of the District Plan provisions. It also amends the reserves contribution provisions in the District Plan to provide for a maximum dollar value for allotments in residential and rural areas. |

The purpose of Proposed Plan Change 10 is to address key implementation issues arising from current subdivision provisions in the District Plan. The scope of this plan change is confined to address current implementation issues with the existing subdivision provisions. It does not seek to change any objectives, policies or any associated text. |

| 9 | Update of Heritage Appendix 1 and 2 Chapter 14F - Heritage Buildings and Structures | Operative from Tuesday 28 August 2007. | The plan change makes amendments to Appendix Heritage 1 and 2 in Chapter 14F. It introduces two new additions to Appendix Heritage 1, being the Eastbourne Borough Council Omnibus Service Garage (bus barns) and the Lower Hutt Civic Centre. The propsed plan change also transfers Rona Bay Wharf and Collett House from Appendix Heritage 2 to Appendix Heritage 1. Some technical amendments of legal descriptions, addresses and the like are also incorporated where there is a need for these to be updated or corrected. |

| 8 | Sites in the Central Commercial Activity Area adjacent to Residential Areas | Operative from Tuesday 17 June 2008. | The plan change introduces new permitted activity conditions for buildings and structures on sites within the Central Commerial Activity Area that do not abut a residential area. These are a 12m height limit for all buildings within 30m of a residential area and a requirement for buildings over 30m away from a residential area to comply with the General Residential recession plane requirements measured from the boundary of the residential area. |
