Chlorination of Lower Hutt's drinking water will continue permanently. The decision was made by Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) on 10 August to approve the ongoing chlorination of Lower Hutt’s drinking water. This follows an investigation by Wellington Water. Read more.
