Moerā Reserve landscape upgrade

Work is getting underway to improve Moerā Reserve, with new recreation facilities, better accessibility and upgrades to the car park and surrounding spaces on the way.

Construction will begin on 19 August 2026 and is expected to be completed by mid-November 2026, weather dependent.

What’s being upgraded?

The upgrades were determined as a result of community engagement last year and include:

  • A new basketball half court
  • A new BBQ and picnic area
  • A new basket swing
  • New playground fencing and safety surfacing
  • A resurfaced car park
  • New paved paths and public spaces
