Here are some local foodbanks, pātaka kai and food rescue operations that provide free access to kai.


Jane Nicholson runs a pātaka kai from her home in Naenae - 427 Cambridge Terrace, Naenae, Lower Hutt

Guru Nanak Free Kitchen distributes free vegetarian meals.

EKTA’s (Compassion) Ethnic Food bank caters to the needs of the Asian/Middle Eastern Communities in the Wellington region along with a Food Rescue Program.
