Organising an event?
If you're planning a community event in Lower Hutt and would like to see if it can be listed on What’s On, you can now submit your event directly using our online form. If your event fits our promotional criteria, and we receive all the correct event details, our team will be able to list it on our platform for you.
Provide the details — including name, time, location, description, and any links — and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
If you would like your event considered for promotion on our digital ‘Whats On’ platform, please fill in the form above in its entirety, and one of our team will be in touch with you within 48 hrs (Monday – Friday) to let you know if we require any further information and if we are able to list your event.

Criteria:
Preference is given to events where Hutt City Council is involved as either the organiser or by way of providing funding through our event funding mechanism; other events may be considered based on the following criteria:
- The event is based in Lower Hutt
- The event is taking place at least 2 weeks after submitting this form
- The event organisers agree with the council promoting the event across multiple digital channels
- The event is open to the general public and positively benefit the Lower Hutt Community
