Urban Plus
Urban Plus Limited was established in May 2007 with the goal of supporting council's objectives of providing social housing to Hutt City residents in need. It is a council-controlled trading organisation (CCTO), and is owned by Hutt City Council.
Since taking ownership of council’s portfolio of social housing in 2007, Urban Plus has managed and invested further in building properties and adding more affordable housing in Hutt City.
Their rental housing is targeted towards low-income older people in the Hutt Valley. They also provide specialist property services and advice to council and are involved in a range of property development activities.
