About this plan change
District Plan Change 8 introduces new permitted activity conditions for buildings and structures on sites within the Central Commercial Activity Area that do not abut a residential area. These conditions are a 12m height limit for all buildings within 30m of a residential area and a requirement for buildings over 30m away from a residential area to comply with the General Residential recession plane requirements measured from the boundary of the residential area.
