Extension of lane closure hours
Due to upcoming work on the sewer main, we’re temporarily increasing the time of the lane closures currently operating in York and Sunshine Bay.
- Sunshine Bay – 24/7 lane closure managed by traffic signals starting 26 August for about two weeks.
- York Bay - 24/7 lane closure managed by traffic signals from 02 September for about six weeks.
Both sites will be monitored in person 24/7 as an additional safety measure.
We appreciate your careful driving and thank you for your patience.
For more information about the project please visit Tupua Horo Nuku | Hutt City Council or call us on 0800 135 255.
Please note the work on Sunshine Bay sewer main is separate from the repair work that Wellington Water is doing. If you would like more info about that please contact info@wellingtonwater.co.nz
