About this plan change
District Plan Change 20 proposed to rezone part of the Council owned land at 60 Eastern Hutt Road, Wingate (Lot 3 DP 83794, Certificate of Title WN50D/743) as General Business Activity Area. The land was zoned Passive Recreation Activity Area. The proposed plan change would have enabled subdivision and development of part of the site for general business activity to the extent provided for by the General Business Activity Area provisions of the District Plan. The remaining part of the site would have been retained as Passive Recreation Activity Area.
