Hutt City Council is progressing with plans to partially restore and reopen a section of the iconic 116-year-old Petone Wharf, which has been closed since 2021 due to storm and earthquake damage.
The historic Petone Recreation Ground Grandstand, built in 1939, is being considered for partial redevelopment within a $3 million budget approved by Council.
