Towed vehicles

If you believe your vehicle has been towed by Hutt City Council, contact our Call Centre on 04 570 6666. They will provide you with the location of your vehicle.

We may tow your vehicle if:

  • It is blocking a driveway or access way
  • It is parked illegally and is causing a problem
  • It has to be moved to allow construction work or work on the road – for example, painting

Police may also be able to tell you where your vehicle is as we advise them of any vehicles we have towed. You can phone the Wellington Central Police Station on 0800 780 102 or find your local Police station
