Save money when you drop off recycling at Silverstream Landfill Transfer Station!

When you bring both general waste and recyclable waste to Silverstream Landfill Transfer Station (Reynolds Bach Drive, Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt 5019) between the hours of 10am – 3pm, seven days a week, your recycling can gain you an overall discount for your visit.

If the separated recycling is estimated to weigh 20kg or over, you’ll get at least a 10% discount. The more recyclable and reusable items you have, the higher the discount, capped at 50%.

Accepted recyclable materials include whiteware, metals, e-waste, household goods and some hazardous materials.

The voucher must be used during your visit and will only be valid for 30 minutes, and only one voucher can be used per visit. Discount vouchers are available seven days a week, from 10am to 3pm. If no member of staff is available due to sickness, please return on another day.

Of course, if everything you’re looking to get rid of can be recycled, you CAN take it directly to Earthlink at 25 Peterkin Street, Taita, Lower Hutt.

This voucher trial is being run in collaboration between Hutt City Council, Earthlink and Waste Management.
