Need Help Putting Your Bin Out?

If you are injured, or medically unfit long term and cannot move your bin to the kerbside on collection day — and there is no one else in your household or a neighbour who can help — you may be eligible for assisted service.

What is the Assistance Required service?

This service is designed to support residents who are physically unable to present their bins for collection due to a long term or permanent medical condition or injury.

Once you request the service, a member of the team will be in touch to provide you with the necessary documents to be completed, once completed we will carry out the following

  • Carry out an assessment
  • Discuss your specific needs
  • Identify a suitable location for your bin that is accessible to our collection crew (e.g. not behind locked gates or near dogs)

Our goal is to make sure your bin is collected safely and efficiently, without requiring you to move it.
